安装qc 出现error An error occurred while attempting to connect to the database.

When trying to install mercury quality center starter edition 9.0
on Windows XP media center, I am getting the following error Wrong
attributes 
"An error occurred while attempting to connect to the database.
Please check that the database is available and the given parameters are
not correct. Click back to correct the database configuration variables" is displayed:

Solution : qc and SQL Server

1. open server2005 -->Right click to select Properites-->Security--> select :sql server and windows authentication mode

2. Security -->logins -->sa--->General :setting a sa password ; Status --> Logins :Enable

3.a program -> SQL2005-> Configuration Tools -> SQL Server Surface Area Configuration -> Remote Connections -> Select "Use only TCP / IP" option.

4.Programs -> SQL2005-> configuration tools -> SQL Server Configuration manager-> network configuration inside the following agreements VIA disabled Named Pipes disabled; disable VIA client protocol following, Named Pipes disabled

5.Restar sql server service

6.install QC
